During 714, Hajaj, uncle of Muhammad bin Qasim passed away.

Suleiman became caliph after death of his brother Waleed in 715.

New Caliph Suleiman was enemy of Hajaj Bin Yousif and his tribe. He ordered to arrest Muhammad bin Qasim. Muhammad bin Qasim was jailed in Iraq and killed ultimately.
